Taylor & Francis

Read- and publish agreement

Researchers at Lund University can use agreements to publish open access with easy handling of the administrative processes and negotiated costs. Read more about the terms of the agreement here.

About the agreement

The agreement enables open access publishing in the publisher's journals, both in hybrid journals and open access journals. Initially the cost of publishing is paid by the University Library.

The corresponding author must be affiliated to Lund University and state Lund University as the affiliation in the article in order to be able to publish open access using the agreement.

Research and review articles such as "Article", "Research article", "Review" or "Review article" are included, but article types may have variations of these titles in some journals. Article types such as "Editorial", "Announcement" and "Book review" are not included.

Journals included

Journals included in this or other current publisher agreements are found by using our search service where all journal titles are listed.

Workflow for authors

When a corresponding author submit a manuscript to a Taylor & Francis journal they need to state the affiliation with Lund University and use the institutional email address (ending with lu.se or lth.se). This way Taylor & Francis will automatically identify articles that qualify for open access publishing within the agreement.

On acceptance of the article, the library will verify the affiliation after which the article will be immediately open access when published.

Publishing costs at Lund University

Parts of the costs of publishing, both within the agreements and those paid with the extra publishing support, are later invoiced to the faculties. Depending on how your faculty chooses to handle the costs, you may have to pay a part of the publication fee at a later stage.
