Student papers

As a student at Lund University, you can publish your thesis or degree project online through LUP Student Papers. It is your course that is responsible for reviewing and publishing your thesis.

The University Library manages the platform, but all departments that use LUP student papers have their own routines and workflows for handling theses. To learn more about how registration and publishing are handled within your course, please contact your course administration office or your faculty library.

Copyright

As a student, you own the copyright to your thesis or degree project. This means you decide how your work may be used, copied, and published.

The Legal Division at Lund University and the University Library have produced a document about copyright when it comes to the publishing of papers and degree projects.

In the case of full-text publication of papers and degree projects, there should be a written agreement between the student and the department. Contact your department to get more information about the specific routines used when publishing.
