Completed projects

On this page, you can read about our completed projects.

The project developed a new system - CoralLU - to manage the university's e-resources. In the ERM system, we handle prices and license agreements for all our e-resources.

Electronic Resources and IT Services departments developed the new ERM (Electronic Resource Management) system based on Coral. Coral is open-source software and an ERM system.

The name is CoralLU because of the adoption of Coral to meet the requirements of Lund University.

The project also developed a new statistics module, which we lacked in our old system SMDB (Subscription Management DataBase).

Project time

CoralLU was launched on March 16, 2021, but the project continued until May 31.

Collaborative partner

Lund University Library thanks the Project Management Office at Lund University for their excellent and productive collaboration.

The project made parts of the collection of Swedish Commercial Ephemera available. It integrated and listed three historical collections. In doing so, it helped search and loan management.

The project opened up parts of the collection of the Commercial Ephemera for research and study, by

  1.  the integrating and ordering of three historical collections,
  2.  the registering of the archival boxes of the integrated collection to facilitate search and loan management, and
  3.  the cataloging of parts of the collection.

Project time

The project was ongoing from 2020-to 2022.

Funding

Lund University Library thanks Einar Hansens Allhemsstiftelse for generous support.
