Find your way around
The entrance floor, floors one and three, and the basement are open to the public at Lund University Library. You can find maps of the library at the bottom of this page.
The information desk is on the entrance floor, just as you enter the library section.
Pickup shelves and self-service machine
You will find requested books on the pickup shelves, and you can use the self-service machine to check them out.
The books you can pick up from the shelf are available on the third floor. Take the elevator from the information desk or the stairs at the other end of the building to reach the third floor.
The reference collection is on the entrance floor.
There are study spaces on the entrance floor and the first floor. On the entrance floor, there are public computers as well.
Silent reading rooms
There are three silent reading rooms on the entrance floor, Tegnérsalen, Wallengrensalen, and Bengtssonsalen. They are open to all visitors. On the first floor, there are reading rooms for scholars.
Special Collections Reading Room
The Special Collections Reading Room is in the basement. The staircase to the basement is in the Eastern part of the entrance floor.
Microfilm and newspaper computer
Microfilm and the newspaper computer are in the basement. The staircase to the basement is in the Eastern part of the entrance floor.
There are three printers for copying, scanning, and printing on the entrance floor.
There are toilets to the left of the information desk on the entrance floor. In the eastern stairwell and the basement, there are also toilets.
Café UB is in the basement, which you reach by the stairs to the right as you enter the entrance.
