Find your way around
The entrance floor, floors one and three, and the basement are open to the public at Lund University Library.
Information desk
The information desk is situated on the entrance floor.
Pickup shelves and self-service machine
You will find requested books on the pickup shelves, and you can use the self-service machine right next to them to check them out.
Books
The books you can pick up from the shelf are available on the third floor. Take the elevator left of the information desk or the stairs at the other end of the building to reach the third floor.
The reference collection is on the entrance floor.
Study spaces
There are study spaces on the entrance floor and the first floor. On the entrance floor, there are public computers as well.
Silent reading rooms
There are two silent reading rooms on the entrance floor, Tegnérsalen and Bengtssonsalen. They are open to all visitors. On the second floor, there is a reading room for researchers.
Special Collections Reading Room
The Special Collections Reading Room is in the basement. The staircase to the basement is in the Eastern part of the entrance floor.
Microfilm and newspaper computer
Microfilm and the newspaper computer are in the basement. The staircase to the basement is in the Eastern part of the entrance floor.
Printers
There are printers for copying, scanning, and printing on the entrance floor, close to the pickup shelves.
Toilets
There are plenty of toilets in the library, for example just inside the main entrance, on the left of the information desk and in the stairwell.
Café UB
Café UB is in the basement, which you reach by the stairs to the right as you enter the entrance.
