Major search tools
Here you will find search services, databases and other tools that can be useful when searching for information. Several of the services require you to log in with your student account or Lucat identity. More detailed search information about publication types is available in the menu on the left.
  • LUBsearch – Lund University Libraries’ common search service for e-resources and printed material. It also allows you to search for articles available in full text to anyone affiliated with Lund University.
     
  • Lovisa – Search for literature in the library catalogue for Lund University Libraries.
     
  • Catalogue -1957 – Search older literature at UB.
     
  • ALVIN – search portal for cultural heritage collections (manuscripts, personal archives, images, maps and older printed material) in the university libraries of Lund, Uppsala and Gothenburg among others.
     
  • LIBRIS – Search for literature in the national library catalogue.
     
  • Databases A-Z – A collective entrance portal to databases within different subjects.
     
  • ePublications – A collective entrance portal to e-resources.
     
  • LUBITO – List of journals at Lund University libraries. Some articles can be scanned on request and some are available as PDFs, for those affiliated with Lund University.
     
  • Lund University Research Portal – Find research and researchers at Lund University.
     
  • LUP, Lund University Publications – Theses, publications and degree projects from Lund University.
     
  • LUP Student Papers – Theses, publications and degree projects from Lund University.
     
  • Safir – Links to free online encyclopedias and dictionaries.
