Register, publish and share your thesis
Find information on how to register, publish, and share your thesis at Lund University, including getting an ISBN, publishing electronically in full text, and submitting printed copies to the University Library.
By contacting the University Library, you can obtain an ISBN for both printed and electronic doctoral theses. The thesis should also be registered in LUCRIS to appear in the Research Portal and in Lund University’s calendar of upcoming thesis defenses.
Electronic full-text publication increases the thesis’s visibility and reach. Copyright rules may vary depending on the type of thesis being published.
A number of printed copies should be submitted to the University Library or sent as hard copies by post.

Distributing printed copies of the thesis

Register your doctoral thesis in LUCRIS and publish in full text
Use LUCRIS to register the dissertation project and the doctoral thesis. The registration makes the dissertation visible in LU's Research Portal and on LU's calendar for upcoming defences. The thesis should also be made freely available electronically if possible.
