Read- and publish agreement

Researchers at Lund University can use agreements to publish open access with easy handling of the administrative processes and negotiated costs. Read more about the terms of the agreement here.

About the agreement

Through the agreement, researchers at Lund University can publish open access in the publisher's journals and receive a 25% discount on the fee for publishing open access books. Any fee for publishing is initially paid by the University Library.

The corresponding author must be affiliated to Lund University and have stated Lund University as their affiliation in the article in order to be able to publish open access within the agreement.

Articles are published under the license CC BY.

Journals included

Workflow for authors

The publishing fee is automatically waived through RightsLink when the publisher identifies that the corresponding author is affiliated to Lund University. To facilitate identification, it is important to state the institutional affiliation during the submission process and to submit using the institutional e-mail address (LU / LTH e-mail).

In the final step of the submission process the OA option is to be selected and also approve the APC quote, which should automatically show a zero sum fee if the organization has correctly been identified as part of an agreement.

Publishing costs at Lund University

Parts of the costs of publishing, both within the agreements and those paid with the extra publishing support, are later invoiced to the faculties. Depending on how your faculty chooses to handle the costs, you may have to pay a part of the publication fee at a later stage.
