About the agreement

Workflow for authors
Hybrid journals
State the affiliation with Lund University and use the institutional e-mail (lu.se or lth.se) address when submitting an article. The eligibility for the agreement is based on this, Lund University Library is not involved in the process of verifying author affiliation for this agreement.
When the article has been accepted for publication, and if you have been identified as eligible, you will receive an email with a link to Sage Open Access Portal (SOAP). Use this link and follow the steps to make your article open access.
Also see a detailed description of the author workflow in the SAGE's platform (PDF, new tab)
Note that CC BY is the default license option, you can contact the publisher directly if any other type of license is preferred.

Open access journals
The agreement gives a 20% discount on publishing in SAGE's open access journals. Since the entire cost of the article is not covered by the agreement, it is also possible to apply for financial funding for a part of the remaining amount.
