Here you find information about how to get the discount and additional funding for publishing open access.

About the agreement

Researchers at Lund University get a 20% discount on article processing charges in all journals from MDPI. The discount also applies to charges associated with open access book publishing with MDPI. Initially the cost of publishing is paid by the University Library.

The corresponding author must be affiliated with Lund University in the article. Please use the institutional e-mail (ending with lu.se or lth.se) when submitting an article.

Financial support for publishing open access

Since all journals from MDPI are pure open access, you can apply for financial support for the publishing. The invoice is sent to and initially paid by the University Library.
