Cambridge University Press

Read- and publish agreement

Researchers at Lund University can publish open access in hybrid- and open access journals from Cambridge University Press without paying any author fee.

About the agreement

The agreement provides free open access publishing in both the publisher's open access- and hybrid journals. Hybrid journals are subscription-based journals with an open access option.

The corresponding author must be affiliated to Lund University and have stated Lund University as their affiliation in the article in order to be able to publish open access within the agreement. There are several creative commons license options available.

Workflow for authors

State the affiliation to Lund University and always use the LU / LTH e-mail when submitting an article.

When an article is accepted for publication, the author receives an e-mail from the journal, asking to complete and submit a licence-to-publish form. Return the agreement to the journal and wait for a message from RightsLink.

The workflow is as follows:

  • You will receive an e-mail from RightsLink requesting APC payment
  • Login or create an account in RightsLink
  • Enter "Lund University" in the section "Affiliation discount", this entails the APC payment to be waived
  • Confirm the transaction
