Guide to the library

Everything you can borrow from the University Library is in storage. This means you must request it in advance. You can only read items on the library shelves within the library. Also, you cannot borrow your course literature from us. Instead, you borrow it from your faculty library. This guide tells you more about how the University Library works. Please read it!

Memory of the World | Read and experience

The Exhibition Room has a presentation on the Memory of the World, the Ravensbrück Archive. It also shows the documentary 'Lakocinski's 9: Documenting the Unspeakable'. To learn more, click the link. The page also gives you access to an article in The Conversation.

The image shows handwritten testimonies, a photograph of the accused female camp guards, and Helena Dziedzicka's ID card. Dziedzicka testified at the trials and was part of Lakocinski's group of Holocaust survivors who documented the testimonies of other survivors who came to Sweden after the war.
