Renovating UB
The basement, Wallengren reading room on the entrance floor, scholars' reading rooms on floor one, and floor three are open to visitors. This page gives you an overview of the building and a map to help you navigate the library.
Parking
There is one parking space for people with disabilities on Helgonavägen 2 to the left of the building's main entrance.
Ground floor entrance
We have a temporary entrance on the ground floor (basement) on Helgonavägen 2D.
There is a lift to the entrance and the first and third floors. The lift does not meet accessibility requirements.

Toilet
There is an accessible toilet in the basement.
The books you can pick from the shelf are on the third floor. There is an elevator and stairs to the third floor in the east part of the building.
The reference collection is also on the third floor. The Swedish parliamentary documents are not available during the renovation.
All other collections are in storage and must be requested for borrowing.
The self-service machine is on the third floor.
After you have activated your LU card as a library card, you can use it to borrow. If you are not a student or staff, you must be eighteen to get a library card.
Café UB is closed during the renovation.
Search computers are available in the basement and on the third floor. There are wireless networks available throughout the building.
Group work is not possible during the renovation.
The bookable group study rooms on the entrance floor, and the third floor open group workspaces are closed.
The information desk is on floor three.
Newspapers on microfilm are available in the basement.
The newspaper computer is on the third floor.
The requested books are on the pickup shelf on floor three.
Printers are available in the basement and on the third floor.

Researchers and doctoral students can use the scholars' reading rooms on the first floor. Collect the entrance code to the rooms at the information desk on floor three.
The Special Collections Reading Room in the basement is open.
Study spaces are available on floor three and in the Wallengren reading room on the entrance floor.
Toilets are available on all floors.
