Silent reading rooms

Our reading rooms are on the entrance floor and are suitable for those seeking a silent environment. Computers are allowed but use headphones to avoid sound leakage. Your mobile phone should be turned off or in silent mode. In Bengtssonssalen there are reading booths. In Tegnérssalen there are larger tables.

Special Collections Reading Room

In the Special Collections Reading Room, you read archival material and manuscripts. You need to book a seat in the Special Collections Reading Room at least one hour in advance.

Book a seat in the Special Collections Reading Room if you have been told to read the requested material there

Please remember to cancel your seat if you are unable to attend.

Scholars' reading rooms

The scholars' reading rooms Scriptoriet and Collijnska are reserved for researchers. At the information desk, you can get a code for the door. These reading rooms are located on the 1st floor. It's also possible to rent a locker or a trolley where you can keep your in-house loans.
