Order digitizations

We digitize, copy, photograph and scan material from the University Library's collections.

This is what you can order

We digitize many different types of materials including books, newspapers, posters, photographs, postcards and manuscripts.

The material must be a part of the University Library’s collections and you need to request the material before you can hand in an order.

Be advised that non-copyrighted material may be made freely available to all users via our digital collections.

Material from the Special Collections Reading Room and our collections (newspapers not included). Page smaller than A2.   SEK 5/page
Newspapers (any size) and material with page larger than A2.   SEK 100/page
Material that is fragile or difficult to handle.   According to agreement

*If the material shows itself to be more dufficult to handle than expected, we reserve the right to claim it as such. In such cases, the client will always be notified before work on the material commences.

This is how we deliver the material

We will email you a download link to the files or you can pick up the prints at UB.

We deliver the digital format in high resolution OCR-interpreted PDF. You can also get high-resolution TIFF images.
