Order digitisations

We digitise, copy, photograph, and scan material from the University Library's collections.

This is what you can order

We digitise many materials, including books, newspapers, posters, photographs, postcards, and manuscripts.

The material must be a part of the University Library’s collections, and you must request the material before you can hand in the order.

Be advised that non-copyrighted material may be made freely available to all users via our digital collections.

Newspapers (any size) and material with pages larger than A2.   SEK 100/page
Material that is fragile or difficult to handle.   According to agreement

*If the material shows itself to be more challenging to handle than expected, we reserve the right to claim it as such. In such cases, we will notify you before we commence the work. 

This is how we deliver the material

We will email you a download link to the files, or you can pick up the prints at UB.

We deliver the digital format in a high-resolution OCR-interpreted PDF. You can also get high-resolution TIFF images.

We usually deliver ordered work within a month, but the delivery time can be longer for more significant works.

You will find our request form at the information desk and in the Special Collections Reading Room.
