Study spaces

The University Library is a large study centre with over 300 study spaces distributed among reading rooms and bookable meeting rooms. There are also many individual study spaces and comfortable seating areas scattered throughout the library.

Apart from meeting rooms, which must be booked, there are group work areas in the library. We have three quiet reading rooms, with a variety of desks and seating options. The Special Collections Reading Room is for the study of manuscripts, material printed prior to 1900, maps, images, ephemera and other fragile or cumbersome items.
