Group work spaces

There are several group work spaces at the University Library. These spaces cannot be booked. We also have four group study rooms which can be booked by students and staff at Lund University during term. At the present time you need to book them manually on the door of each room.

Däcket

1st floor, northern part. Easiest access is via the stairs that you reach after turning right after passing by the information desk. Once you have climbed the stairs you will see several group spaces, there are more if you turn right and walk past the individual study spaces.

Ekmanska biblioteket

1st floor, south-west part. You can reach this space by stairs and lift, both are located to the immediate left of the information desk when you enter the library.

Förberedningen

3rd floor, south-east part. Take the lift located next to the information desk. Get off at the third floor and walk through our open collection (Öppen Samling) to reach this space.

Bookable group study rooms

The group study rooms that is possible to reserve are located on the entrance floor, in the north-west corner. Once you have passed the information desk, turn left, then right, and walk past our journal collection to reach the rooms. The rooms are restricted to students at Lund university and bookable manually outside each room.

Tertium

Entrance floor, north-west part, computer, wall screen; remote control and a HDMI adapter for laptops can be borrowed from the information desk, whiteboard.

Rules for booking group study rooms

The rooms are bookable manually outside each room.

  • To book the room sign with your name on the time and date of your choice.
  • You are allowed to book a maximum of 4 hours per day and a maximum of two bookings per week.
  • If the room is still empty after 15 minutes of booking time anyone can use the room.
