About the agreement

The agreement enables free open access publishing in the publisher's hybrid journals, a total of about 2000 journals. Hybrid journals from Palgrave MacMillan and Nature Academic are included. Hybrid journals are subscription-based journals with an open access option.

The corresponding author must be affiliated with Lund University and have stated Lund University as the affiliation in the article in order to be able to publish open access within the agreement.

The agreement includes author fees for the following publication types: Original Paper, Review Paper, Brief Communication, and Continuous Education. Additional costs, such as paid offprints, color figures, posters, are not included in the agreement.

Lund University is also part of a national agreement with Springer Nature. It is also possible to publish free of charge in open access journals from the following imprints: BioMed Central, Springer Open, NatureResearch, and Palgrave Macmillan.

Workflow for authors
