About the agreement
Accepted articles can be made open access without any additional cost when corresponding author is affiliated to Lund University.
The agreement applies to the following journals:
- Applied Physics Letters
- Journal of Applied Physics
- Journal of Mathematical Physics
- Journal of Chemical Physics
- Physics of Plasmas
- Review of Scientific Instruments
It is the date of publication of the journal issue that decide if an article is eligeble to be published open access without an APC cost. Articles accepted in 2020 but published in a 2020 volume in 2021 are also included as part of the agreement.
Authors who have already paid an APC for an article covered by the agreement may get a ”credit” that covers the APC in a future AIP journal publishing in any of AIPs journals, including the OA-journals. This does not cover publishing in journals published by AIP, but owned by other societies (e.g. AAPT, AVS, ASA, SoR, JPSJ).
If you are eligeble for a credit, contact AIP through the publishers web site (New window)
