We run projects in many of the library's areas. The projects are often expensive and time-consuming. So we run them with support from foundations, funds, private individuals, and companies.
We run projects in open science, bibliometrics, electronic resources, research data, collection preservation, availability, and security.
Our projects are long-term investments, often expensive, time-consuming, and technically challenging. Without the financial support, these projects would have been impossible to carry out.
Digitising our collections
We run several projects to preserve and make the collections more available to you.
We take stock of, digitise and photograph manuscripts, archives, book collections, and catalogues. In doing so, we make the collections more available and protected against wear.
The digitised material is searchable on the web. So it is available to anyone, anytime and anywhere in the world. It makes the cultural heritage available to everyone regardless of where you are.
