Wireless Internet Access and Network Sockets

The wireless network covers most of the public areas in the library.

There are two wireless networks - LU weblogon and Eduroam.

LU weblogon uses a web browser to log in.  The network is not encrypted but requires a key, which at the moment is lu2013-1
Eduroam is encrypted and requires special software. See instructions on the LDC pages:

Wireless Internet access (LDC website)

Service notifications (in Swedish - LDC website)

The reading rooms Wallengrensalen, Scriptoriet, Reflektoriet, Kollokviet and the five group study rooms on the entrance floor, AV-kroken, Cellen, Investigatoriet, Tertium and ÖB2, also have network sockets for wired computers.

Connection to the network is limited to students and employees with StiL or Lucat username.
