Many computers are available for our visitors. If you are a student/staff at Lund University, you can also use our network sockets and our wireless network (see heading to the left). All computers now require login and have:
Important: It is possible to save documents on the computers if you have logged in with your personal login. Save in the folder BIbliotek with sub-files! Don't create your own folders! You can now also save on the desktop.
Computer work stations in the group study rooms also have personal logins and booking there is required.

Personal Logins
You need a user identity and password in order to use our computers. Since the library is connected to the Internet using SUNET, we follow SUNET rules which require personal logins.
Persons with older StiL-/Lucat-accounts previously not used on UB's computers must activate their account and change their password the first time they login.
The password must be at least 8 characters long and be a mix of at least three of the following types: capital letter (A-Z), small letter (a-z), number (1-9), non-alphanumeric character (like % ! #).

Students use their StiL account. If you have not received/forgotten your user account, please contact StiL.
University staff use their Lucat account. If you have not received/forgotten your user account, please contact the Lucat administrator at your department.
Other visitors without any connection to Lund University may receive a user account at the library.
