LIBRIS
LIBRIS is the national library catalogue showing the holdings of all Swedish research and special libraries. Almost all Swedish books and journals 1866.- are listed here, in addition to even older literature and foreign literature (mainly 1968-). The University Library’s holdings of books and journals are registered in LIBRIS, but only a small part of our older literature (-1957) is included.

In LIBRIS you will find:
- books
- journals and newspapers
- articles from some Swedish journals, yearbooks and collective volumes
- theses and reports
- films and cd’s
- maps and sheet music
But not:
articles in general
manuscripts, archives and other unprinted material
or uncatalogued material (ephemera).
There are references to about 6 million titles in LIBRIS today from över
300 Swedish libraries.
