Library Catalogues
Library catalogues list all printed literature (such as books, journals, research papers) and other media (electronic journals, cd’s, videos) available in a particular library. Use the library catalogue in order to:
- Search for a specific book or author of a book
- Search for a specific journal – but generally not a specific journal article
- Search for books/journals on a specific subject
- Find out which library owns the book/journal and where it is placed
- Find details about a book/journal, such as number of pages, publication year and publisher.
