Lund University Library receives sheet music as legal deposits from Swedish printing houses and commercial and private music publishers. Audio recordings are only available from the Swedish Media Database/National Library of Sweden, Stockholm.
The Manuscripts and archives section holds large collections of international sheet music from the 17th and 18th centuries. These collections are searchable in the International Inventory of Musical Sources (RISM).
Other important collections include Otto Taussig's Schubert collection, Swedish folk music collections and personal papers from composers such as Sten Broman and John Fernström.
